2015 Summer. Elemwood Park, NJ. When we first stepped into Barber Depot, the store was overflowing — narrow aisles, boxes stacked everywhere, and barely enough space for customers to browse. The shop was too small to hire staff, too crowded to organize inventory, and too limited to grow further. The business had reached a ceiling within its local market.
