About the Brand

Anew Golf USA is the U.S. online home of Anew, a golf brand built on the idea that what you wear on the course should look as considered as it performs. The store carries the full line: polos, knitwear and outerwear, three distinct shoe collections, and a range of bags from stand bags to travel luggage. Everything on the site comes from one design team, which gives the brand a clear look and a clear point of view.

The Challenge

A strong brand identity does not help much in search if shoppers have never heard the name. Most golfers who would love Anew are not typing “Anew” into Google. They are searching for the kind of thing they want: stylish golf clothes, women’s golf apparel, a good-looking golf bag. Those searches are dominated by large sportswear labels and big multi-brand retailers.

The task was to put Anew in front of golfers at that moment of discovery, and to do it in a way that strengthens the brand instead of diluting it.

Our Approach

Claim the category, then the brand

We researched how U.S. golfers describe the style Anew makes and chose a focused set of category terms where a design-driven brand can realistically compete. Each term was assigned to one page, so the store’s collections support each other instead of competing for the same searches.

Collection pages that read like the brand

Collection pages carry most of the weight in e-commerce SEO. We rewrote their titles and descriptions and added on-page copy and FAQs that answer what shoppers actually ask about fit, fabric and how to wear the pieces. The writing follows Anew’s own tone, so a page can rank and still feel like part of the brand.

One brand, consistent images

A catalog with hundreds of product photos gives search engines a lot to read if the images are described well. We set naming rules for image alt text that match a single-brand store: clear product type, color and view, written the same way across the catalog. This makes the products easier to find in image search and more accessible to every shopper.

A clean store to rank

We reviewed the technical basics that affect how Google sees a Shopify store, including page speed, layout stability on desktop and mobile, and broken internal links, and fixed issues as they surfaced.

How We Work Together

Each month starts with a short plan of what we will work on and why, and each report shows what moved and what did not. We measure progress by how the store’s key collection pages rank for their target searches, which tells the client more than an average across hundreds of keywords.

Where It Stands

The engagement is ongoing. The groundwork is in place: a defined keyword map, optimized collection pages and a growing share of the catalog with search-ready images. Each month builds on the last, with the goal of making Anew a familiar name to golfers who first meet it through search.
